I Corinthians

  1. 10:6  Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
  2. 7  Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
  3. 8  Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
  4. 9  Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
  5. 10  Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
  6. 11  Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
  7. 12  Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
  8. 13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
  9. Exodus

  10. 3:17  And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
  11. Daniel

  12. 6:22  My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
  13. 3:17  If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
  14. John

  15. 10:29  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
  16. Romans

  17. 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
  18. 31  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
  19. 32  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
  20. 33  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
  21. 34  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
  22. 35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
  23. 36  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
  24. 37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
  25. 38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
  26. 39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  27. 35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
  28. II Corinthians

  29. 12:9  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
  30. 10  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
  31. II Timothy

  32. 4:18  And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
  33. II Peter

  34. 2:9  The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
  35. The Acts

  36. 7  And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
  37. John

  38. 20:19  Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
